Saving for the Rainy Days

Image
Are you saving for rainy days or you are still waiting for millions before taking a step because you need to beware, of little expenses a small leak sinks a great ship.   The most difficult thing is your decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity.    That is why LHI took a step to act through a sustainable project ( VSLA) the Village Savings Loan Association, making sure every woman builds up herself financially.    With great joy and gratitude, the VSLA groups in Potiskum LGA, Yobe State are turning money a terrible master into an excellent servant, as they received the first cycle share out.   Remember a man who pays his bills on time is soon forgotten. Let's learn to save for rainy days. #PlanInternational #MatanSakkwato #UNICEF #UN -Women #MWACA #SpotlightInitiative #EU #BritishCouncil #ACT #USAID #IHP #State2State #CareInternational #ZOA

World Toilet Day

Image
World Toilet Day is held every year on 19 November. It has been an annual United Nations Observance since 2013, with a theme. This year's theme of World Toilet Day 2022 is ‘Sanitation and Groundwater’ and the campaign title is 'Making the invisible, visible. Inadequate sanitation systems spread human waste into rivers, lakes, and soil, contaminating the water resources under our feet. So everyone should have access to a toilet connected to a sanitation system that effectively removes and treats human waste. That is a step to taking action to tackle the global sanitation crisis and achieve sustainable development, which is part of our responsibilities as citizens and individuals. Say NO to open defection!!! #UN #BritishCouncil #WHO #UNICEFFOREVERYCHILD #CareInternational #Aspire #SpotlightInitiative #PlanInternational #USAID #State2State #ACT #IHP

Celebrating Hand Hygiene Day

Image
#GlobalHandwashingDay   Keeping hands clean is one of the easiest and the most important steps we can take to avoid getting sick and spreading germs to others.   Various types of viruses, bacteria, microorganisms, dirt, grease, or other harmful and unwanted substances are stuck to our hands.    Cleaning our hands properly with soap and water can drain down these unwanted guests.   But only washing your hands is not enough. You have to dry them with a clean cloth / paper towel too.    This is very important as wet and moist hands are more easily re-contaminated.   #War on germs, Hand to Hand battle. #Give germs the RUB. #Clean well to eat well. #WHO #USAID #Nidake #PlanInternational #SpotlightInitiative #CareInternational #UN #UN -Women #EU #ACT #State2State #UNICEF
